As a manufacturer, Mares builds regulators for specific diving conditions with temperature being the greatest determining factor. High performance balanced diaphragm first stages are sealed to reduce the intrusion of contaminants. For warm water diving (47° F or warmer) technopolymer resin composite 2nd stages are ideal but not advised for cold water diving. Chrome plated brass second stages better conduct heat from the divers breath to resist icing in cold water diving (47° F and colder). Cold water regulators may be used for warm water conditions.

Masks

The Dacor Advantage: Optically clear silicone-injected skirt is supple and pliant to insure a comfortable fit.  Shatter-proof tempered glass lens is distortion-free.  Double flange facial seal is extra-wide, enhancing comfort and keeping water out.  Strap adjustments are simple.  One handed adjustments are made easily with finger pressure while mask is on.  Straps are wide to insure comfort and hold the mask firmly but gently in place.

Snorkels

All Dacor snorkels are available in both contoured and flexible drop-away models.  Many scuba divers prefer the drop-away style because it stays out of the way when using a regulator.  Both are designed to reduce drag and stay comfortably in place without compromising mask fit.

Masks, Fins, and Snorkels

Masks

Mares engineers low-volume masks with minimal air space for ease of clearing and greater field of vision.  Secure-sealing, hypoallergenic, silicone mask skirts give maximum comfort, and minimize "mask lines" on the face.  Optional black mask skirts enhance vision for underwater hunting or photography.

Fins

For waters 70° F or warmer, closed-heel fins give comfort and power.  In cold water, open-heel fins accommodate thermal wetsuit boots.  Direct Line Thrust™ technology propels water powerfully behind you.  Flex channels promote an easy, efficient kick.

 

 

Snorkels

Durable, lightweight, vinyl barrel for easy breathing.   Silicone swivel mouthpiece, orthodontically engineered to reduce jaw fatigue and enhance breathability.  Flexible tub throat lets mouthpiece move out of your way while diving; smooth interior bore prevents residual water retention.
